El Ridiculoso is a no holds barred party hosted by Dr Pokoly and Curtis aka Dentist featuring modern house music. The name originates from a trip Dr Pokoly took to Miami for the Winter Music Conference (WMC). While philosophizing with his taxi driver, the Doctor was floored when the taxi driver mentioned the horrid South Beach traffic due to the conference was “ridiculoso”. There’s no better place for a party to be born than WMC.
Its current home is Klub Vittula, located on Kertész utca 4, Budapest…and always starts late and goes till late. The venue oozes a no frills but in your face attitude. The party and venue attract a wide range of people which adds to the party’s mystique. You’ll find headbangers, house heads, punks, drunks, techno snobs and the musically illiterate all turn into true party people while Dr Pokoly and Curtis aka Dentist and their esteemed guests orchestrate El Ridiculoso from behind the mixing desk.
